Cancellation, transfers & course terms

Minimum course numbers

Courses run with a minimum of four participants. If that minimum has not been reached within two weeks of the course date, we may cancel the course. You will be offered a place on an alternative course or a full refund.

If you need to cancel

We will refund 100% of the amount paid when you cancel at least four weeks before the course. With less than four weeks’ notice we are not obliged to refund the booking, but we will try to refill your place and will refund it if we are able to do so.

Moving to another date

Your secure booking link lets you move to another compatible course date until four weeks before the course you are currently booked on, subject to availability. After a completed transfer, the new course date has its own four-week transfer and full-refund deadline. Same-price transfers complete immediately. If the destination price is different, the request is sent to the bakery so any extra payment or refund can be agreed before the booking is moved.

If we cancel

If circumstances beyond our control mean we cannot provide the course, we will first try to offer a suitable alternative date. If that is unavailable or unacceptable, all money paid for the booking will be refunded. Our liability does not extend beyond that refund.

Course questions

Before you book

Do I need experience?

No. The courses are designed to make the methods understandable whether you are beginning or trying to improve inconsistent results.

Can I book the course as a gift?

Yes. Choose the gift option during booking; participant names can be supplied or changed later through the secure booking link.

What about allergies or access requirements?

Tell us before booking. We will review serious allergies and accessibility needs before confirming that the course environment is suitable.

Are younger participants welcome?

There is no fixed minimum age, but younger participants need to attend with an adult participant.

Do I need to take notes?

You don’t need to take notes. We’ll email you all the recipes, methods and techniques the following day. During some demonstrations, you’ll also be invited to take videos if you wish.
