Basic breads is the most popular course we run, its a complete beginners guide to the world of bread baking. Its been developed over the years to take you though step by step every stage of the process.

Even if you bake at home occasionally, but just want to refine your skill, we think this course will help because you get the see how we achieve the results we do in the bakery and you may just learn a few new techniques.

What we’ll teach you on this course:

Basics: Equipment & Ingredients

Bread: White Farmhouse, Wholemeal Loaf & Granary Loaf

Techniques: Weighing out Ingredients, Mixing, Developing gluten, Shaping & Baking

“Brilliant, packed full of tips and tricks. Garry and Matt were a delight, they were happy to answer the many questions we had. They were patient and helpful. The coffee and food from the cafe at dinner was just gorgeous. We had done a sourdough course with them a couple of years back and that too was great. It was great back then and just as good years later. We've even booked on for another course next year and we can't wait”
